I picked up these Vieja Hacienda Robusto in a 5 pack from cbid for 3 bucks. Being a newb and all I want to try as many sticks as I can, even cheap ones. It was not very well constructed and had a few soft spots. It lit easy, and the first draw was absolutely horrible. I'm not very good at describing tastes just yet, but it tasted like a sweet stinky sock:r. So I keep smoking, for the good of the team, and after the first 1/2 inch or so it actually doesn't taste half bad. It stayed tasting pretty good for about an inch, and then that bad taste came back. It kept on going from good to bad to bad to good for the rest of the stick. The taste got worse when I didn't let it cool down. All in all a pretty bad stick, but to be fair it didn't rest in the humi more then a few hours before I smoked it. I think I'll leave the other 4 in the humi for a year or more just to see if they'll kind of even out. I also received some other sticks in the box which I will review after they rest awhile.
