My son is graduating from the US Army

I have pledged that I would put up his whole platoon for 1 night in Charleston, SC. I put together a party, in which me and the Mrs. will fly out and share it with the troops. I am hoping we will have a boat for this event... still trying. (boot camp)

Anyone have a vessel to carry 25+ troops and have dining/bar/accomidations for such.. PM me.

Unfortunatly I cannot help you but congrats to your son! And a big thank you to him for all he does for our country!

Congrats to your Son! I know you and your wife must be proud. Thank you for raising such a son that would committ to protecting this great nation. :u

I suspect the party will have begun long before you arrive. :D

I suspect you are right. :al

Thank you OpusX for your dedication, determination and sacrifice as a parent of a soldier. The families are often overlooked but in many cases they are giving just as much if not more than the soldiers.

God bless you and your son.

Hope you find everything you need to make it a very special evening.

Chas

Just make sure that you tell your son and his buddies that contrary to popular belief there are still people here in the good ol USA who appreciate and value what they do for this great country!:ss

Congrats on your son's graduation. Unfortunately I don't have a boat but if I did I would certainly let you use it for such a worthy cause.

Cheers,
Rob

Check out some fishing boat charters in SC. In Alaska I would know where to hook you up....but in this neck of the woods I'm sorry

Do you know of any cigar smokers in the bunch? If so, I'd sure like to put together a few smokes for them to celebrate with. PM me if you're interested.

Hard to say it better than that...congrats to your son and to you on raising what sounds like a good young man. And kudos for throwing them a deserved celebration, I wish I had the hook up to help. :u

Tom is right! Along with everyone else in this thread. Congrats to both your son and family! I have been proudly serving our military for 22 years! Hooah!!!

I don't have a boat, but I do want to say congrats to your son. He will enjoy serving just like I do. There isn't anything in this world more rewarding than knowing you are protecting an entire country (and the best one in the world) Tell him to LIVE the army values, not just memorize them, listen to his NCO's and he'll do just fine. Does he know what unit he is going to?
