need some opinion on an OSCAR

i have a friend who keeps telling me that i should try a smoke called OSCAR. Just wanting to know if anyone has tried them and if so are they worth spending a few bucks for? i just hate wasting money on an unknown smoke when i have access to some very knowledgable BOTL who know the real facts.My friend says they are excellent smokes.Any opinions out there would be greatly appreciated.I'm not sure i trust his judgement because he like milder smokes than me.

I personally have never heard of them. A search of top25cigars did not turn up any hits for Oscar. Makes me wonder if your friend isn't shopping for cigars in drug stores!!:r

Wish I could tell you more. Maybe the name is different?

CA has four reviews of cigars by Oscar dated between 1994 and 1996. Perelman's 2006 Cyclopedia doesn't show Oscar as brand currently in production.

Could be in reference to EL Rey Del Mundo Oscuros which are quite a tasty smoke and I enjoy considerably.
