I am alive and kicking. I am mentally 100% physically will take a little time.

But......................they figured it out.

So after a long 3 days in which I was tested for everything from TB to the big C. I have been in every nuclear, magnetic, and radioactive scanner you can imagine. My heart goes out to those that are truly sick and have this put upon them.

Anyway it turns out I have what the Doc called a Reactive Aspiration Disorder..............essentially its like one time extreme asthma brought on by a combination of a chest cold or virus that got out of hand and caused my lungs to get inflamed and severely restricted. A 5 day course of steroids and I should be good as new. This time the answer feels right so I am very very relieved.

Now to all of the gorillas out there that sent prayers my way. You have no idea what that meant to me, having this community reach out to me was well nothing short of amazing. I smiled everytime I logged in with my blackberry (the nurse threatened to take it twice) thank you so much to all my BOTL and SOTL I felt you there with me.

And one special thanks. Al my friend I don't know what to say, I only have simple words..........Thank you. For those of you that don't know Al was by my side through this whole mess, he was always there with a quip and a laugh or words of encouragement where needed. He relayed your thoughts to me. He checked in on me it seemed like hourly. Of everyone I know in this world the only one person that showed more compassion and true caring was my wife. From the bottom of my heart my friend thank you for being there.

If ever there was a gorilla out there that wondered why I have bombed Al as much as I have. The answer is simple, I can never give him back what he has given me.

It is no wonder why we should all be thankful for being a part of this thing. Good people looking out for good people for no other reason aside from the fact that we care enough about one another to do so. All the best Shawn. OK gang. Thank you for the kind words but I did nothing more than any one of you would have. We take care of our own here and that is all I was trying to do.

No bombs need be sent trust me. Send them to Fred and the guys for the troops if you find you just have to mail something.

Although AL and his Wife do enjoy Wine as well since he has filled up on cigars :)
