New humidor project

opus

master of none
I am ready to start another humidor project and am looking for ideas. Here is a link to my last one. http://www.clubstogie.com/vb/showthread.php?t=20784&highlight=never+ending+humidor+project&page=6

Undoubtedly I will use quartersawn white oak again if I can find the good stuff. Other than that it is pretty much wide open. Size could be anywhere from a small end table to armoire size. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. I like unique but traditional things that are outside the box, but just outside.

I'd like to do something in a dark wood, or painted and laquered black, a-la a piano.

If I had extravagant amounts of money, I'd make one out of ebony, with flamed maple accents. My humidor would then be worth more than my car.

Your old one looks good, you're definitely a craftsman!

Your last humi project came out beautifully. It would be hard to give you suggestions on how to make one better.
