Non-Alcoholic Drinks and food to go with smokes?

I saw that at Costco yesterday and wondered if it was any good.

Does it really taste that different from the good ol' US Coca-Cola? :D

Yup. The mexican coke *is* the good ol' US Coca-Cola .... the new US blend uses high fructose corn syrup instead of sugar. The mexican blend is the stuff ya grew up with. :tu

As to the thread topic .... coffee .... lots and lots of coffee.

Root Beer, trust me, sounds a little akward, got turned on to it by an owner of a local B+M and some of my smoking friends. Try IBC or Souix City Sarsparilla or Rootbeer (hard to find) the bottles make it more enjoyable if you ask me. Especially with stronger or aged cigars. Absolutely amazing. I also frequently drink Mountain Dew with everyday smokes.

The differences in cokes are sugar versus high fructose corn syrup.

Now, someone educate me on what peach punch and real hot chocolate are LOL

Diet Dr Pepper, water, Coke Zero and Diet Mt Dew are my main beverages of choice. As I don't have a lot of experience with many liquers, I stay away from them. I do enjoy a Guinness every now and then, but I haven't had one with a cigar yet. May try it when it warms up again. (18 degrees here right now.)

Has anyone tried the Dr Pepper from Dublin, TX while smoking? I can't get it here though. Might have to do a road trip down there to get some more just so I can try it with a smoke.

(BTW, for those that are wondering it's still the only place that still makes it with cane sugar. It's so smooooth)

I would not have believe it, but I've tried rootbeer with my cigars and I have to admit it is now one of my favorite combinations. Take it from the rest of us there are plenty of combinations that work well and they are not all alcohol related.

Cheers!:tu

Real hot chocolate = whole milk, your favorite brand of cocoa (I'd suggest something other than Hersey's or Nestle), and sugar. Slowly warm the milk over low/med-low heat in a sauce pan, add the cocoa and sugar, gently wisk until full dissolved and continue to heat and wisk until it's the desired temperature. It's simple, easy, and a hundred times better than Swiss Miss.
