Nording Vs Zino Classic

DPG

Newbie in the jungle
First off, hello to all on the forums - my first post here, but was very pleased to find that a forum like this existed and from searching around a bit, it's easy to see there is an absolute wealth of information here!

So, although it's possibly bad form to ask a question as an opening post, here we go:

For my next box of cigars (will be Robusto format regardless of brand), I am considering either:

Nording
Zino Classic

Any experience with either of these out there?? How do they hold up?

I'm currently about halfway through a box of Montecristo Serie C Robustos which I am hugely enjoying and are close to becoming the favoured standby in my humidor, but, alas, I have incurable "cigar wanderlust" and always order something different each time!

Thanks for any information anyone can provide and for the forum itself - what a resource!

Happy smoking!

D.

The Nording is perhaps the most earthy cigar I have ever had. Very high on my Rocky list, which isn't too long. :D The Zino's are a nice mild cigar perfect in the morning.

Wow those are two very different cigars. Personally, I love the Nording much more than the Zino. It's got good strength, body, and a fairly full flavor. The Zino Classic is a much more milder smoke, but to me a bit smoother.

I'm a Zino fan, Platinum actually. Great cigar.

Why not introduce yourself in the New Gorilla Section?

I would go with the Nording. I have had a few of both and the Nording was much better IMHO. I know there are many member that love the Zino's, but I was not impressed by them. You might want to get a couple of singles, if they are available in your area, and see which one you like better.

Nording is pretty much the only thing I enjoy from Rocky Patel. I never tried the Zino, so I can't comment on it.

i used to love nordings, but they arent my cup of tea anymore.. But id prolly pick it over that Zino

I'm a fan of the Nordings - love them!
