Nub Cameroon 466 box press

I was in my local B&M today trying to unload some of my extra money and I decided it was time to try my first Nub. I have stayed away from them just because I thought the marketing was a bit wierd and I figured they were over hyped. Anyways, on to the review.

On first look: The construction of this cigar is first rate. It is square, so i assume it is some type of box press. Though short, it feels like a heafty cigar.

Upon lighting: It lit up nicely and had good flavor. The draw was very smooth and it produced a lot of smoke.I have never been able to taste hits of ________(fill in the blank) but the flavor was good and the burn was even.

As I moved through the cigar: I found it to be slow burning. Even with it being short it seems to last quite a long time. I am sure people with a better sense of taste will say the flavor changes as it burns but I found the flavor to be very tasty right to the end. I smoked the whole cigar and never tapped the ash.

I would give this cigar a 9 out of 10. If you have never tried on, I would suggest you do, I found it to be a very good cigar.

Happy smoking!

Re: NUB Cameroon 460

I've tried all of them and the Cameroon is probably my favorite. I think it has a "nutty-cedar" taste. I like all the Nubs. I finished a Habano 466 just a few minutes ago and I definitely like the Cammie better, especially the 358.

Re: NUB Cameroon 460

I made a mistake, it was a "Nub Cameroon 466 box press".

Sorry for the mistake

Re: NUB Cameroon 460

Had my first Nub earlier in the week, the Cameroon 358. Really enjoyed it.

I have a couple of Habanos lurking, but have never gotten them out when the urge to smoke has hit me.

I was a little hesitant to try this brand, but I'm glad that I did. I've really enjoyed the Nub's that I have tried so far. The only one that I haven't tried is the Camaroon, and that won't be for long. :ss

Definitely one of my fave go to's. Easy to smoke at 3-5 a pop and a real good selection of wrappers. Never had a bad one. Smoked probably 20-30 so far.

The closest place to me that sells them is 40minutes away, and they are NOT in the $3-5 range, more like $7-8. So I have yet to try them....is anyone else paying this for them or is it a big scam?

I have a NUB in my humi from a bomb I received (I think it is the Habano). I think I'll light it up pretty soon. Thanks for the review.:tu

Nub Cameroons are a great little cigar except one little flaw, construction. I've had to many come apart on me and there are other cameroons out there that are just as good or better.

I bought a box of the habanos and cammys a while back, and I am blowing through them. I am picking up a box of connecticuts next.... There will ALWAYS be a place in my humidor for Nubs. I know that not everyone here likes them, but I find them to be a great smoke for the money.

I had the Nub 466T Connecticut recently, and it was a great change of pace from my regular smokes. Great burn with a delicious lightly buttered toast flavor that gained intensity ever so slightly throughout the nearly 2 hour smoke. Those who dismiss the Nub as just a gimmick are missing out on a really good cigar.

I definitely look forward to trying the other wrappers and sizes.
