Odd trend in flavor

Ever since a RyJ Reserva Real I smoked last week, everything seems to have a taste of suger or honey. Even an SLR serie G I picked up some sweetness. Has anyone had a streak like this?

My father mentioned the same thing to me after he smoked an RyJ Reserva Real Belicoso.

Im enjoying it. Smoking a RP 1999 connecticut now and I would swear it was dipped in a jar of honey.
