Young Ape
I apologize in advance for no pictures... I didn't think I was going to bother with a review of this cigar tonight, but it was so tasty, I had to.
Oliva Serie O Perfecto
5 x 55
Price: $6 from the B&M
Age: 2 mo in my humidor
This was a gorgeous cigar. Firm and flawless. It was a perfect smoke from light to nub. A razor sharp burn resulted in a beautiful bold white ash that lasted for fully 1/2 the cigar before I got nervous and knocked it off.
The flavors were woody and leathery, with a hint of chocolate in the first half. Burn time was right at an hour.
I paired it with one of my homebrewed bourbon porters (9% ABV) which was a perfect choice.
I will definitely purchase more of these.
