I don't feel too bad then. I just looked up the MSRP and:
Perfecxion No.5 MSRP = $8.00 + Tax = 17% of Wholesale (.68) = $8.68
Perfecxion No.4 MSRP = $8.75 + Tax = 17% of Wholesale (.74) = $9.49

Retail at one shop here is $10 for the #5's and $11 for the #4's
So the extra buck and a half could be part tax part greed, but ....

I bought 3 of each and they charged me $48 out the door cash :D
That's $8 bucks a piece :) :)

I'm sure they wont do it every time but appreciate the deal today.

Well the sad thing is they're a fuente retailer.. I sent an e-mail to the fuente company asking if this is legit and if the rumors of selling them at MSRP is legit.. I hate the B&M near me, I hope they get a beetle infestation
 
Stock available in the Midlands of South Carolina, with prices around MSRP

Tobacco Merchant on Bower Parkway had a few #4s left, most of a box of power rangers, and petite lanceros... prices ran from $10 ~ $11.50

Walk in business only (they don't get enough to meet the demand of the locals, much less the internet at large)

My guess is they'll be gone before Friday.
 
shops locally also got them on monday. the closest always over charges but he's good on everything else so occasionally i pick up a few. got some #5's for 11 each today (there is no tobacco tax in FL so he makes a good profit but is a small shop in an expensive area). he had robustos and xXx, the robo's were 16 and the xXx were 14$.

BTW 500$ for a box of 42 (depends on the vitola) is not a bad price at all. i've sold them for less here though.


MSRP is not always gonna happen depending on the state tobacco tax. if someone wants opus but can't get them PM me and i'll give you a shop who ships and generally has them.

i wish that TS got them. they don't. they generally have anejo all year round and they always have forbidden and the forbidden gift sets but i've never seen regular opus there. the shop that i'd give out isn't local to me but they always seem to have opus whenever i call them.

right now there are about 5 different shops within the tampa area that do have them though but almost all of them limit purchases or gouge you. it's funny though that thompsons generally sells them at a better price than anyone else (they do limit purchases and you can't order over the phone unless you know someone).

Is it ok if I pm you once in a while just to see how you're doing? I have a solid Opus X source already, but am a little short on friends.
 
My B&M got 4 boxes in yesterday, 2 boxes of Robustos and 2 box of Petit Lanceros. Limit 2 per customer with a 36% markup. I didn't have a problem with the price just the fact that they only put 1 box out at a time. When I went in yesterday they had the Robustos out. While checking out he mentioned that they had the Petit Lanceros but they weren't going to sell those until next week.

You will probably like em :tu. I reccomend you save one though, so you can see how it tastes with a little bit of age, but hey, that's just my :2.
 
I bought 5 perfection x's today for 15.50 apiece. I will go back at lunch tomorrow and buy my limit again if there are any left. I would also buy robustos they had 1 box of 3's,4's,5's, rob's, and PX's.
