I have had a bunch of Padillas lately, but this one has to be one of the better ones. This was another gift from my friend Madurolover.
The cigar starts of looking like a corojo wrapper with a nice band. The band is very ornamental.
The cap showed a little imperfection, but it did not effect the smoke.
The foot looked like the draw might be tight, but it was not.
The pre-light draw really did not revealed a nutty taste.
The first inch of the cigar taste really grassy and woodsy.
The second third of the cigar is where the complexity really came to the front. I could really taste some nuts and wood. I was shocked the cigar changed as much as it did. I really enjoyed the nuts mixed with wood.
The final third of the cigar started getting spicy and kept the woodsy taste.
The nub of the cigar had a strong nicotine taste. Maybe even a little to much nicotine for me. But, if you like a nicotine ending this one has it.
The construction was great. The ash held well and was nicely white.
The cigar was a good cigar. I would really recommend trying it. I would have to give this cigar an 8.7 on my all cigar list. I liked the changes and complexity, even thought the end had a little to much nicotine the changes out way the end.
I am working on how to adapt the pictures to a smaller size. give me a little time.
