Padilla Hybrid robusto

Teninx

SilverBack
I wasn't sure how I'd react to this cigar because of the ad copy touting the 'sweetness' of the hybrid wrapper, but after trying two in the past two days, I can say I'm a fan. These are not the Miami Padillas, but a variety rolled in the DomRep with a wrapper unique to thier farms.
The cigar looks great, with a sleek wrapper. The draw has some resistance, but isn't too tight by any means. The flavor of this wrapper really comes through in the last half, and does have some light, sweet quality that isn't as intense as a maduro leaf, but very pleasant non the less. Underneath the wrapper I found a very straigtforward profile that came across as full-bodied and medium in strength. I bought a box from Famous on sale for <$60. and I'll likely buy more. I think this is a good smoke right off the truck and think they'll be even better with some nap time.
