Partagas Black

The problem is I might forget and take it out to the pool with me and not have any way of fixing it save get out of the pool and dry off. By then I am ready to chew nails.

Just light it before you get in. If it has a draw problem, you'll know before you light it actually. If it does have a prob, hopefully not, just correct the prob then go out an enjoy it.

Recently purchased a box, can't recall who was offering the deal, but I experienced the same, was not all that excited about the cigars, surprised considering it was Partagus. Usually find if they are fresh off the truck it's best to let them rest in the humi for 3-5 weeks. It's been about 3 weeks so think I will stock one up this pm and see if there's any improvement. :ss

I have expierienced some draw issues with my box of Classicos, but I keeping these in a lower RH environment really seems to help. Something tells me that medio tempo Conn. wrapper really soaks up some moisture. That said, in the 3.00 range, these are damn near impossible to beat for depth of flavor.

That means I have to light ever cigar before getting in because, as I mentioned, I would probably forget that this is the one with the potential problem. I am not sure there is enough of a pay-off to risk it. Are they really that much better than the next maduro?

They're one of my favorites, and aside from an occasional tight draw, they are very consistent, especially flavor wise.

I got a box that had a few with the tight draw. Just got a new box and seems to be better. One of my all time favorite cigars.

I had one a few days ago and got very nice chocolate flavors for the first 2/3's and then it got bitter after that. Still, it was a nice stick.
