The cigar: Petrus Reposado 6000, 6x54 torpedo
Wrapper: maduro
Binder: Nicaragua
Filler: Nicaragua

Humidor time: 4 mos

Picked up a 5pk on the Devil Site for under $10; not sure what to expect. What I got is an ok cigar, without much flavor.

Pre-light: A 6x54 torpedo, clad in a reddish-hued, very toothy sun-grown maduro wrapper, this cigar looks very nice. It's a bit light in the hand and not as solid as others. Not a whole lot of aroma, easy prelight draw.

Burn/construction: pretty straight burn, but ash is a bit dark and not very solid. Flaky, and prone to dropping unexpectedly. A bit loosely filled. An easy draw as a result, but a tendency to burn hot.

Flavor: Not a lot of it. Just some shadows of the maduro flavors I love -- dark sweetness, chocolate, coffee -- but they never materialized. Not much complexity or depth. Just plain tobacco.

Overall, a bit of a disappointment, but not a big one since I didn't expect much. Fine for the yard or the golf course, but not much more.
