Just tried my first Nub - Overall a decent cigar - I thought it was worth the $5 I paid for it from a local B&M. At first I was as a little concerned, since it seemed to have some decent size sticks/veins that were noticeable in the end, however, it smoked great and held a long ash. All in all, I would smoke again.
 
I was also very suprised the Nub smoked as long as they do. I hade one the other day and it lasted about 45 minutes.
 
Interesting, I thought it would be faster too. I have one resting but won't be able to resist much longer.
 
I ordered 10 singles from CI. With the time everyone is saying they burn, they sound like they would be perfect for my Friday night smoke. I retreat to my "man cave" but it is usually about 10:30 or later, and I find about 45 minutes is perfect for a good smoke.
 
Anyone ever tried to punch it in stead of cutting? That might slow down the burn and make for a longer, more evenly paced cigar. :2
 
The Nubs that I've smoked have lasted about 45 minutes and they aren't bad. My local B&M sells them for 4.25 a stick and I think they are well worth that. just my :2
 
I haven't tried any yet, although that will change as of Tuesday.

I took advantage of the video deal (6 for $20) and ordered some 120 smokes (hey it was a good deal!), so I have 10 of each vitola/blend coming in soon!


I would be surprised to have one last < an hour though to be honest.

call cigar.com and get the sampler. tell them you saw the deal on the video podcast, and they should get it to you for $20 + shipping.
