Almost had a bidding war with you on this one. So much so I priced out those cigars, based on prices of a single cigar if you bought the entire box. Of course it would be tough to buy all 16 boxes, but here are the numbers. $60.00 price was already about 1/3 off so I would say it's a smoking Deal at $40, well less than 50%.
By the way I was indoctrinated to the "[d]evil" site this week, and I sold my soul. I blame everyone at CS - it's all your fault.

I think I see who beat me out on this deal!!!

I am only a marginal fan of several of these smokes, but they are mostly all good solid sticks that make excellent trading cigars. I usually try to pick one of these humi deals up a couple of times a year, and then I charge the humi, put the entire purchase away for a future gift to a needy BOTL, or a relative who night pick up the habit. a good way to give a noob a starter kit that is ready to go, for a very reasonable price!

I still have bids out on a couple more of the deals, so I won't have to :sl
you for beating me out on this one! These generally go for $35-40 range on Cbid, so you are right inthe range!

So you're the one that made me give up on this lot. I went up to $35 but then figured with my other bids I better bow out. Don't want the wife to kill me before I get going good, ya know? Good deal on this.
 
thanks to you guys that backed down on the bid, this is the thrid lot ive bidded on but the fisrt that i didnt get bumped out of.. this was the highest i would go.

so how fast do those guys ship? im set up for thursday shipping, so should it go out today since i won last night ordo i have to wait till next thursday for them to ship?

Mine ship weekly and I get mine on Mondays.
 
It will be all you can do to not "check" for any good deals. My best advise is don't go to the site unless you PLAN on buying something. They do have some great deals, just don't get caught up in a bidding war. Bid once at your max and walk away if you lose it. They will offer it up another time.

On the up side...it does get to be the same old thing after a while. I have found less and less things that I want.
The down side is...You may find yourself looking at overseas sites more often :D
 
I am soon going to start a 12 step group. I have avoided bidding at the devil for a month now!

A warning to those of you that can bid there responsibly:
if the copy about the cigar states something to the effect of, "it isn't half bad" the cigar should be avoided, don't bid even a dollar on the box.
