Question for Padron Anniversary Fans ??

Young Ape
I'm a big fan of the Padron Anniversary sticks. To be specific the Monarcas, Diplomaticos, Exclusivos & Imperials. I love them all in Maduro.

I need to ask the Padron fanatics what else they smoke that they enjoy as much (or more ? Is that possible ?). I have not found anything I enjoy as much. So hopefully I can get some good feedback from the Padron lovers.

Thanks,

"justasmoke"

For day-to-day availablility, nothing beats the Anniversary 64 line. There are other smokes I enjoy just as much, like the Fuente Anjeos...but they aren't as available and I don't chase after cigars anymore.

Padrons come first for me. Tatuaje, Cabiguan and other Don Pepin cigars come a not to distant 2nd. Rich, creamy flavorful smokes they are. :ss

I love the ann's but when I am not smoking them

Padron 5000 (best bang for the buck in the Padron line)
A 5 Vegas Cask Strength (nice dom. wrapper)
St Louis Rey Reserva (great price point)
La Aurora 1495 ( Love the Churchill)
La Aurora Preferidos Robusto (outsanding smoke)
Don Pepin Blue (Great balance)

CC side
Partags 898
H upman Mag 46
Juan Lopez #2
These are good coffee sticks that are smooth.

it's hardly possible to find anything as good or better in an nc, sorry :)

Honestly I bet everyone that's had the annis has the same question, I know I do. I think the 2 distinguishing characteristics of the PAM/Ns is that they are 1) damn tasty and 2) damn tasy every time. They're never off. So that's what I like most, some others that have met that criteria in my experience:
  • CAO Brazilia gol and samba
  • AVO maduros
  • Pepin blacks
  • La Aurora Preferidos (all wrappers)
  • Padilla Maduros
  • Fuente Anejos
  • LFD Double Maduro chisel
  • Graycliff (recently had my first few crystals and chateu grand crus and they smack of obvious quality, think I'll work my way through the line as I can afford them = slowly)
  • Puros Indios Maxima Reserva and Viejos (lot of folks hate these tho, probably the #1 CS invoker of the puking smiley, I've found them to be very good however, and consistently so)
  • Camacho Maduros and SLRs

There are other lines that have given me some outstanding smokes but I've found frustrating due to inconsistencies, for example, Rocky Patel (vintages, OWRm), Gurkha (regents and legends)

slopes, money, time, gah :hn

You have said it all.
I do smoke the forbidden ones and love them very much but as far as NCs go, Padron Annis is what I crave.

Padron anny's are my favorite!!

I also like:
Monticristo white label
RP old world reserve
VSG
Miami 8/11

These are definitely some of my favorites. :tu:ss

I'm not sure how many more posts we'll see but I appreciate the input already from the Padron fans. I've got a few options I'm going to try from the above posts.

Thanks,

Wow, we '64 smokers enjoy a lot of stogies in common :).

Tatuaje Cojonu
Coronado
Don Pepin (more specifically the Blue Label, but I love them all)
Ashton VSG Belicosos
LFD Double Lig Chisel (natural)
Padilla Habano
Partagas Black

There are other sticks that I've found of the same level of quality and deliciousness for me at least. The Diamond Crown Maximus, the Ashton VSG Spellbound, the Gispert (yes the lowly gispert) and serval others do it for me everytime.

64's are my favorite,others
OpusX
Gurka Louis VIII
Montechristo White
AF Hemmingway's
La Gloria Cubana seire R
La Flor Dominicana Chizel & 2000
and a few others, still trying new stuff

Everyone keeps bringing up the RP OWR and its not to be denied as a fantastic stick. Its pretty equal to the task of putting down a 64 sized cigar jones.
