Recommend your retailer in Texas

For those of you in Texas who would like to get your hands on a sample of Avalon Cigars, here's your opportunity.
I will be traveling trhough Texas in about ten or so days introducing our product to retailers. If you would like to recommend your local shop, drop an email to info@avaloncigars.com with the words "Retailer Recommendation" in the subject line. We'll call the retailer and ask for an appointment to see them. If we get an appointment, we'll bring an extra sample or two with your name on it and let you know when we drop it off. And, as usual, if the cigar shop that you recommend picks up our line, we'l send you a gift package that includes cigars and other good stuff.
The cities I plan on visiting are:
  • Tyler
  • Dallas/Ft. Worth (and surrounding areas)
  • Waco
  • Austin
  • San Antonio
  • Houston
  • Beaumont
I look forward to my whirlwind trip through the Lone Star Sate and when I get my schedule together, I'll post it here. If you show up at the shop while I'm there, I'll give you a stick just for taking the time to come out.

I sent back your form and a follow up e-mail and never heard back from you guys.

I took time out to do that and gave up my personal info. Have these guys kept their word with any other CS members?
 
Hey Tom,

Do you plan on making a trip to Atlanta anytime soon? I've got 3 places in mind in Atlanta if you ever get up this way. I could recommend a few others as well.

Sir,

Your first email was sent to me on the 21st of this month. I replied to you within 2 hours. Six days later, on the 27th, you responded with a completed form. On the 27th I was in New Orleans visiting retailers. I did not have a chance to open your forms until Friday the 29th, when I returned home. On that Friday I also received an email from you asking for an update on my progress contacting the retailers you recommended. I thought I might have a day or so to gather information before responding to you, but it seems that I need to rush my response in that you have chosen to question my integrity here on the CS board. If you feel that I have taken too much time in replying and that I have other motives for collecting your personal info, I will glady remove your personal information from our database and remove you from the participation list in our recommendation program.

As far as "keeping my word," I made a promise to you (and everyone else on the boards) that in return for recommending a retailer I would leave a cigar behind for you at any shop that agreed to see me on my trip through Texas. I will be leaving on that trip on Monday the 9th of July. Every shop that you recommended was already recommended by other members and each one has accepted an appointment. Regardless of wheter or not they were already recommended by others, if you decide that you still want to participate in the recommendation program you will still receive your free cigars.
