Real Men Cut Lusis in 1/2
As the Nature Boy officialy retired last night, I have to smoke a great cigar to pay homage to a 36 year career. The legend will always live on. Smoking a Fuente Hemmingway. I'm gonna miss Slick Ric. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!:ss

Actually it was quite moving on RAW tonight (never miss a show...i know, i know)
4 Horsemen baby!
Ricky Steamboat.....good stuff.

Being a lifelong wrestling fan I had to smoke something special also.

Ric's match at Mania was fantastic and emotional and the sendoff on Raw was really heartwarming.

So, in honor of the Nature Boy I lit up a Padron '64 anni.

Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

I'm 38 been to MSG since the 70's to watch the older ones wrestle.
Now I have my 2 boys hooked, so yes older folks do watch.
fwiw looking forward to next month brining my son to his first TNA ppv.:tu

A Minnesota boy.......... Guy was around forever,,always wondered about those lumps on his back.. Wrestling was a lot better (for me) back in the 60s-70s with the Crusher, Dick the Bruiser,Mad Dog Vachon and Billy Superstar Graham (I think he introduced steroids to the wrestling world) ,,oh and one of my favs,,Jesse the body Ventura..

Jerry in Minnesota.

So, I take it a few of you here remember the NWA -- National Wrestling Alliance? Tell me: Was the 4 Horsemen Ole & Arn, Tully Blanchard, and Ric Flair? God, I used to love the stuff. It's REAL!!

Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!
Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!

People always bag on wrestling. They say it's fake and anyone could do it. Well, it's not fake, it's scripted(big difference) and it hurts. Ever have your neck broken, ear torn off by the ropes, or eye knocked outta socket? Every try to fall 10-15 feet on your back? Most of the old timers wrestled 300+ nights a year. Always away from their families and in different cities. It's not an easy life.

Wrestlers are the greatest one take actors/athletes/entertainers in the world and Ric Flair was probably the greatest of all time. He over came a broken back from a plane crash to continue wrestling. He lived just like his "character" in real life. He wore the 5,000 suits, rode in limos, flew in jets, slept with any woman he wanted and he sold out Arena's night after night. But mainly he entertained us for 33 years.

Thank you Ric for all the memories.
