Ridiculous Cigar Advertising?

I saw this in CA when I was flipping through at the b&m and I thought :wtf: who buys into this stuff

The best part is the disgusted look on the girl on the left's face.

I spent a couple of minutes last night looking at that ad just trying to decide what kind of look that was on the blonde's face. I couldn't decide. I'll have to check it again and see if seems like disgust now.

I think the blonde wants the brunette to leave. That's OK - she can come with me.

I'm not sure if really good cigars need to be advertised, for example, I can't recall a Tatuaje ad. And I'm not sure I ever seen Cuban cigars advertised, even in cA, which sells in countries outside the U.S. \

I remember seeing a Cuban Cohiba ad somewhere, I don't think it was in a magazine. And I agree about the cigars, just show me a closeup of the cigar and tell me where the wrapper/filler/binder were grown, how long aged, etc..

I think that is what you get when Beer Ad Guys develop an ad campaign for cigars...LOL

The old, standard beer ad campaign trys to convince you that regardless of the fact you are a fat, ugly, ill-mannered slug, if you drink their beer you will instantly become irresitable to beautiful, nyphomaniac women.

BTW... if anyone trys the cigar and finds out that it's not simply hype but the "beer method" actually proves to be true let me know so I can buy up this year's production of it!

if you notice almost all of cigar advertising that includes a dude whether he is with women are not is wearing a wedding ring...kinda funny

That type of ad doesn't work for me. I think most rely on either an "expert opinion" or word of mouth.
