Rocky Patel I-Press

I haven't not tried this exact one but I have tried a "pressed" or flat cigar and I must say its and interesting smoke by very awkward, the draw wasn't bad but smushed when cutting which made a mess out of the end.

Drew Estates Java cigar is also pressed as these are.

I haven't tried em but they weigh almost nothing and they seem like they would kinda hot.

In another thread somone was talking about RP's being dyed. At 10 bucks a stick, I sure hope these aren't died. I'll wait for CS reviews from those who tried it base on looks and RP reputation.

If they show up in my local B&Ms or I can trade for them I'd try them but I dont have the RP love I used too.

I have to admit that the Patel double maduro is my current favorite!!!
And, I have yet to smoke a "bad" patel.

That being said, I'm not a fan of pressed or shaped cigars. My personal expereince is that they tend to be a little hard on the draw. Some are down right hard to draw. Mybe you could use one of "Henry's draw pokers" but for my money I'll stick with plain old round sticks.

Just my:2

Looks like he is trying to copy the LFD Factory Press Limitado's.
:tpd:
Looks like another gimmick from Rocky. Sorry, I am no longer a Rocky fan as he should be putting more time and energy in keeping his lines consistent rather than coming up with a new gimmick every couple of months.:2 Just looks like he is trying to jump on the LFD Factory Press bandwagon, just like he saw the success of the Pepin Lancero sampler and sure enough he jumped on that bandwagon too.:2
He has just become to gimmicky for me the last couple of years and I never have the desire to try anything new that comes out from his camp, although the Edge line is pretty good but just not consistent enough for me to make any box purchases. I used to love his OWR line but that too has changed IMHO in the last year. Ahh, well. Sorry if I offended any of you Patelians out there.
