I've been meaning to tackle this one for a bit. Finally got to it tonight. When I first pulled it out and smelled it I picked up a bit of mint.
Me and my smoking buddy. At least while the wife was away shopping.
Prelight was nice, if a bit loose. I got a little more mint, wrapper was sweet on the lips. I also got some nut and grass flavor. This should be interesting.
As you can see the contruction was good and the ash was tight.
I might have cut off to much, making a loose draw. I find with torps I like to open a bit more than this due to the cone. However this one smoked like it was punched, but still loose.
The flavors pretty much were nut and grass top to bottom. With a few others playing a bit in between. Touches of sweet and spicy going back and forth.
Around the start of the second 3rd to half way mark that odd RP flavor that I can't identify. It seems to be in most of the RP sticks I've tried. I don't know what it is, but I don't like it.
I think I've also found that RP's general don't like to burn hot. At all. I like a smokey stick. This wasn't it. I was making a short quick draw followed by a slow draw to get some good smoke going. This helped bring out the flavors.
However, this also brought out more spice and an almost tar/plastic taste. I found if I let the stick hang out for minute to two it didn't that. So I can only assume it's from smoking to fast. Looking back this has been a repeatitive theme with the RP's I've been smoking.
The last 3 was better, but I still didn't care for it. Took it down to about this point.
There were more pictures, but they were fuzzy. Sorry. Hard to tell 5mp is out focus on that WEE BITTY screen.
Over all, this had some good kick. I got a nice buzz. I like the nutty and grassy in it. There are better smokes for that though. I won't be looking for more.
