Hey guys, CI's special for the week is on RPR4's (the corojo and maduro). A box of 25 for $40! http://www.cigarsinternational.com/html/spec_wkly.asp

I have read some reviews floating around the interweb,and it seems to be 50/50. I am a maduro fan, and have yet to try the R4, so my question from other mad fans that have given this one a puff, what do you think? Its an amazing deal for the quantity, but if it is "bleh" I'd rather spend the money on something I know I'd enjoy. Thanks!

I believe they come in bundles instead of boxes. The maduro's are very good...much better than the OWR, IMO. If you are a maduro fan, you will most likely enjoy these. They do need some age in the humi...at least a few months worth. Enjoy!
 
Coworker of mine just jumped them when they were on joecigar....

Says he likes them- good flavor but 2 out of 5 have had some funny burn issues.
Also siad they weren't very strong...
 
I have enjoyed the maduro in the past...but I agree, they need some time in the humi to settle down into a decent smoke. After 2 months I thought they were a very nice smoke, though.
 
I bit on the same deal from cbid about 3 - 4 months ago. As a maduro luvr I thought they were average. I haven't had one pretty much since I got them in (the devil is......well......the devil!) so I'll have to pull one out and see if just a few months has made a difference.
 
I bought two fivers of the maduro from C-bid a few months ago. I had burn problems with the first two after about a month in the humi. After 3 months, it seems to have gotten much better. Still not much of a fan of the taste though.
