Just tried above cigar last night and really liked it. The pre light smell of it was almost like a chocolate bar. It smelled so sweet and didnt disappoint when i got it lit. I want to try the 1992 vintage too. I would like to say thanx to ron from the humidor for the tasty stick(one of many). I hope i remember correctly, Sorry donovan if you gave me this one. It's hard to remember when you walk away from a herf with like a hundred dollars of free smokes! Not that im complaining!:ss
 
I really enjoy the V90's. If you want the stick without the price, CI sells bundles of V90 Seconds. Very much worth looking into.
 
V90 Good smoke.
I prefer the V92 myself.
Loved that smoke when I was starting out.
It's funny I went back and revisited it and it was still good but not as good as I remembered.

Try the RP Sun Grown also. Very tasty.

Great Smoke, I agree, there is a chocolate like quality to it that starts with the prelight smell but then returns in the second 3rd of the stick flavor wise. At one point I didn't know if I should continue to smoke the thing or eat it. One of my favorites at this point and I have some with a years worth of age on 'em. Haven't tried the 92 though.
 
The last RP 1990 I had was bad. I've had one before and it was good, but the wrapper on the last one was extremely salty tasted, the smoke was salty, and the stick was plugged. I don't think the rest are like that (I'm hoping).
 
The RP 90 is my #1 cigar for getting people interested in smoking cigars. That chocolate taste of the 90 has gotten 3 acquaintances into regularly enjoying them

So I guess the RP 90 is my "hook" cigar
 
The chocolate tastes intrigues me. Anyone know the best place to pick 1 or 2 of these up?

Just finished my last of a 5 pack of these the other night. Very nice stick that doesn't disappoint.

Best place to get them or the seconds is probably cbid. You could probably get a fiver for around $15 and a little less for the seconds.

I honestly think the seconds are just as good. If you are interested in the chocolate flavor profile, also check out Sancho Panza Double Maduros and 5 Vegas Series A. All three of these sticks are a great bargain.

That's the cigar that got me hooked. These are my 3rd favorite smoke. :ss
 
Both the Vintage 1990 and 1992 are in my Top 5.

RP V's are good, solid smokes. I also prefer the 92, but will smoke either with joy! :D
 
I just picked up a 90 and a 92 today. My question now is should I let them age for a while or smoke them right away?
