Smoke a 2nd one of these recently and both times the cigar came apart as I smoked them. Anyone else had problems with this cigar and it's construction

I have smoked several boxes of the 92, had an RP 92 60 yesterday in fact and have always found the construction to be solid.

The following posts are surely going to ask about storage conditions, etc...

What condition was the stick in?

I've had several RPs never had them come apart.

So, 2 questions;
1-Where did you get them from?

2-How do you keep them?

I've never had any issues with any of the RP Vintage 1990s or 1992s that I have purchased (more than 5 boxes).

The only ones I've ever had issues with was an RP Vintage 1990 2nds... but I attributed that to cutting too much.

I have had problems with the 92's in the past. I think the problems I had were related to the incredibly thin wrappers, as I always had them stored in my humi at 65%. All the 92's I have smoked in the past year have been flawless, it is possible I just got some out of a bad batch in the past. I really like the 92's and I hope they smoke better for you in the future.

What humidity did you store the cigars at? You should probably store them at 65%. I had problems with wrappers splitting when they were stored at 70%.

I have had a couple of issues with the RP 92 seconds coming apart or unrolling after I clip them. I just wet the wrapper with water and re-work the edges of the leaf and let it dry. This doesn't work if the cigar is already lit. I have done this and have sucessfully enjoyed the cigar without it coming apart.

Take them back to the place you bought them from. Rocky is good about standing behind his product, and the B&M should stand behind what they sold you, as well. If there is EVER a problem, Rocky will send us a replacement box and will also send something to the customer having problems with his smokes.

They both were smoked down until it burned my fingers so the only thing I could take back would be the bands!!!(haha).

The only RP product I have has that issue with is the Fusion, smoked 5 of them and returned the rest to CI, a bit embarrassed smoking a cigar and having it disintegrate in front of company, never had it with any other RP stick.

A lot of times I see the vintage series start to unravel a little bit from the head if I straight cut it V-cutting it seems to solve this problem.
