I was inspired by the photos in tzaddi's "A Spring Walk with San Cristobal"

So, I'm posting this review in that style:

Prelight: looks like your standard Rocky Patell perfection

Smooth from the first puff:

hint of vanilla... why does it have to end?

OK, in conclusion. I enjoyed this every bit as much as the decade. It didn't have the anoying aftertaste I had in the decade. Sorry decade but as Jean Paul Sartre once wrote: "the cut worm forgives the plow".

I give this a 91.5 if there is such a thing. These are ready.... so smoke 'em if you got 'em.

Only the pic in post 3 shows up

I set most of these at 750 pixels wide... that my be too much.

does it show the link? can you click the properties, follow the link and see the photo... I trying to determine if Picasso is the problem or if the photo is too big.

Here';s the image tag...minus the end brackets.

what the heck is ggpht.com?

In Firefox I just get blank space, in IE I get broken image Xs - if I go to properties and copy the link I can see the pic, but not in the thread in either browser.

Thanks for letting me know. I might post them on my own site and make them smaller in the future.

Nice, like some of the others I was having problems viewing the images but for some reason persistence paid off and after a few reloads in they popped.

Makes me want to dig one of those babies out of the cooler and give it a proper flame. That's pretty much all you can ask for in a good cigar photo, "lust". :D

I really like the effect of the smoke coming off of the cigar and clinging as it rises. Great focus and detail on the band and your flash in under control.

Looks like you have some honeysuckle & rhododendron. :tu

The pictures aren't working for me either, but I don't need them to know this is one of my all time favorite smokes...glad you enjoyed it. My advice, don't worry about the pics, just go smoke another and try again. :ss

Thanks... you were my inspiration. I thought the smoke was cool too. it was completely accidental of course but I'll bet with some practice I could get some cool effects... OK, You've convinced me, I'll try it.

I suspected that was honeysuckle on my fence. But I had no idea what the pink bush was. I am suprised to hear that it is rhododendron because it is so hot around here. I know it grows well up in West Virginia and my Dad's got some doing well in his yard... I'll have to call him to come look and see if thats what that is. I thought it was a camelia. Maybe they are the white ones?

That is the first cigar I ever had that made me say "Wow!" One of my all time favorite smokes and I wouldn't let my humidor be caught dead without one.
