i've been called a trained professional at rolling your own-oh wait, you're talking cigars.......sorry
Just curious but where are you getting the raw materials for this project?
Honestly I wouldn't know where to begin as far as rolling my own cigars but I think that your plan rocks.
I'm all for DIY projects and if you are succesful with this one I'd love to know how you do/did it.

I have watched people like Bobb attempting to roll his own when the Perdomo people were here....he seemed to have little trouble with it...
I tried to roll my own once. Raul, from Perdomo, showed me how. Here's the thread where I talked about it...LINK. It's kinda tough. The leaf is slightly elastic, so you have to keep it tight...but not too tight otherwise it will tare.
If you have the opportunity, I would recomend watching someone first, and maybe have someone give you a step by step while you are rolling.
