RP Edge Sumatra wrapper

Decided to pick up a few cigars for the weekend horseshoe tourny and of course I made my way over to the RP AO. And damned if there wasn't 4 or 5 boxes of different Edge's and one was the Sumatra. To my surprise and definitely to my delight Rocky just added to the variety of his cigars. I love the Sumatra wrappers and this one has a sweet bold smell to it, almost like Red Man.

Needless to say I walked out with a fist of Patel's. And one of those little perfectos, too.:ss

So for you Patel whores you have something else to turn to ashes.
 
I heard a few weeks ago that those were going to be hitting the shelves. You'll have to let us know how they are, ASAP! Those of us that love the Edge have been waiting for these.
 
My B&M has had them in for awhile. I picked one up several weeks ago, but haven't smoked it yet. I'm definitely looking forward to it!
 
I second the Sumatra...I actually like them more than the maddy or corojo edge.

I play in a yearly horseshoe tourny, it's my one time a year to play, so this wasn't smoked while sitting down relaxing with a top shelf drink. We were in the baking sun drinking B-Lite and acting like grown kids.

It was a tasty cigar. I really like the Sumatra wrappers and this one you could really taste. I think this was a good decision to add another wrapper to the Edge line.
 
Man, this new edge sounds really good. I'm going to have to pick one up next time I cruise by a B&M. Glad you enjoyed it Ken!
