Sharpening a Solingen?

Does anyone know how to sharpen a Solingen V cutter (like the one Below)?

I purchased one somewhat similar to that linked cutter, and while I love the look and feel, it mangles cigars. It appears that the "cutting blade" could be removed, but I'm not sure how to go about it. Any suggestions on how to sharpen this up, or places to look?

As a straight razor user (many Solingen blades), the Dremel option gives me the willies due to it's a ability to take off way too much way too fast, and to generate enough heat to destroy the tempering.

I'd recommend hones once you figure out how to take it apart. Coarse to begin with if the edge is mangled, progressing to fine once the edge profile is restored.
