Went to mail out a package for a trade today, got to UPS, and the lady at the counter tells me she can't mail tobacco products. BTW, I WAS THERE YESTERDAY TO MAIL SMOKES TO SOMEONE ELSE!!!! So, I decided to have a smoke, RP Rosado robusto. Then I got a text message tellin me Opus was in at the local B&M. Picked up a couple power rangers and a couple XXX's... What a sweet and sour day
 
Which Post Office Bro??? You can call the floor manager out ANY TIME when the dumba$$es don't have a clue at the counter.
 
My wife went to UPS on base for me... Apparently there wasn't a manager there... It got done anyways. And on another note, when I got home, there was a nice little present for me in the mailbox (or what was left of it) from vstromark. Bump his RG up a few notches for me. I've never had a problem shipping cigars through UPS. You can't ship cigarettes but they know the only reason I go in there is to ship cigars. They even tape the package shut for me.
 
Never shipped through UPS but USPS never has a problem. Most times I don't disclose what it is but every once in a while like Ratters I need them to tape the box. More times than not they either pay no attention or it starts a conversation about cigars and I end up spending 20 mins at the PO.:r
 
UPS is THE shipper of choice for a number of retailers - including Famous. So somebody was just blowing smoke at you.
 
I do believe Super Troopers is the funniest movie I have ever seen.
If anyone hasn't seen it, you gotta, or I'll punch-a-size your face. :r

I've had this problem before too. I was sending a box to my dad who's work transfered him to Texas for months at a time, and it's a pasttime thing for us for me to bring some cigars over with some single malt-- Anyways, I even laid down that sappy story on the clerk at UPS and still no. I went to FedEx and they did it. General Cigar ships via UPS too.
