sliding down this slope head first...

Rock a mullet like a STAR
So I've just bought a new humi 100ct + accessories + about 60 small cigs and now I'm about to purchase this from Famous Smoke:

Any reviews?

Cohiba Black Pequenos 5/6

Not everyone is a fan of the < 5 inch and < 45 gauge but I can't sit still long enough to enjoy the big boys.

Cohibas have never been one of my favorites. Its not that they are bad cigars but it has always seemed to me that you are paying for the name as much as the actual cigar. If you are looking for a 4" cigar take a serious look at the Nub. I have tried 2 of their 3 lines and everyone of them had exceeded my expectations. They all last about an hour each.

Hope this helps.

Michael

I like the red dots, especially the blacks, but as others noted $$$. Every now and then I'll splurge and get one, but not too often.

thanks for the info...sorry about the link..it changes every 24hrs I beleive..I'll def look into NUBS....I had a Padron last weekend (didn't look at the type just the name) at the casino and man was it good! Smooth and prob mild-med so I might look more into those.

I like the Robusto, or Double R. for the same reason. In purchasing a yard gar I try and find a deal on a cigar constructed of long leaf filler, sometimes come up with a sleeper. Unfortunately, not many catalogs, on line, or otherwise, provide this info.

Never had one. But I've never had a cigar that I couldn't finish. You know, 25 cigars in a box some taste great and some taste good. Don't know if it's me or the cigars, but they never taste the same..
Brian..:ss

you are lucky. now you will start trying many interesting cigars from a variety of countries and manufacturer. enjoy the ride. its interesting to track how the taste of a cigar smoker is likely to change over the course of their lives. if you have just started to smoke and collect fine cigars, consider:
buying the smallest quantities of those brands/labels that you might want to smoke. you will want to track your prefences here so,
keep a record. record country, source/vendor, label, and box code , if available. dont forget to include in cost in your journal, not value, cost.

XOXO

I've tried to keep a log of what I smoked and my experiences but sadly I'm not refined enough to taste any differences. The only thing I can tell is the draw...amount of smoke that comes off...and how spicey it is...I have a hard time distinguishing a leather taste or nutmeg or even expresso...Guess I need to go smoke more huh? :ss

Personally, I'm a big fan of Fuente, Padron, and Tatuaje. All good stuff. You can find some regularly available ones of those at reasonable prices, and then you have the high end ones from them, too (Fuente Opus, Padron Anneversario), that are as good as anything you'll find out there. My favorite Tatuaje right now is the Havana VI Victoria. Tasty, slim stick.

If you like smaller and tastier--definitely check out the Tatuaje Havana VI Angeles.

also Tatuaje brown label has a small size. cant rmember the name petite junior or something like that. the noellas is a great smoke but pricier.

I love the cabaiguan guapos line as they just introduced new sizes. i am loving the the corona junior size. pricey though.

check out the angeles. atlanticcigar.com had a great price on these, but they can hard to find in stock at times.

sorry realize i didnt answer the question you posed. i havent had any NC cohibas. havent read much that would encourage me to try some...
