Slow smokers?

Any other slow smokers out there? Seems like I can make even the smallest sticks last a long time.

For example, an average robusto lasts me around 90 minutes

Doesn't last me 90 minutes but I've made them last a little over an hour. And I've made Padron Londres last me up to an hour or more. Does that count?

My average time for a robusto is about 1:15.
For a petit corona, it's about :50.

But many have accused me of being slow in general.:ss

I smoke slower.
I find when I herf I dont like the flavor change.
To me the slower I smoke the more I pick up the small nuances in the sticks flavor.
My boy on the otherhand could smoke 2 PAMS in the time I smoke 1.
Its freaking scarry to watch.
He just crushed a Bolivar PC in 1/2 the time of me.

Just do what feels right man. After all its your stick and you should enjoy it how you like it. :ss

I don't get the chance to smoke all that much, so I try to make even the smallest petit corona and robusto last as long as possible. A robusto (5x50) usually last about an hour, give or take.

I am with you man. :tu I don't think I could even smoke that many during herf, because I smoke so slow. I read all these time lengths and am thinking how long my smokes take. I have many double coronas and churchills that will last well over 2 hours. :hn I like smaller sticks for obvious reasons! :ss

Sitting on a balcony/porch with a drink, I'll take longer. Taking a walk along the dike in the cold april air and I'll smoke a bit faster :p

I've had a 4.5x50 Camacho Triple Maduro take me about two hours. Most churchills take me about 2.5 hours.

I had to teach myself to smoke slow, I started out a "fast smoker". The cigars taste better when they don't get so heated up from fast smoking.

well in the spirit of the post, I had indian tabac toro that lasted nearly two hours...longest i've made a cigar last in awhile.

When at home I smoke very slow, had a RASCC take about 80 minutes a few weeks ago.

If I'm at the cigar shop lounge I tend to smoke much faster as that is my primary thing I'm doing. At home I may be working on my porch with my laptop, listening to music, etc, so the cigar isn't the primary thing.

I smoke relatively slow. Like icehog3 said, the stogie seems to smoke/taste better if you don't over heat it. :2

66 minutes for a Party Short
2 hours for Opus X Robusto

Sometimes I smoke so slow I tunnel the cigar. I hate that. It's a delicate balance to keep it from coning or tunneling.

It takes me about an average of 1 1/2 for a robusto although some sticks just seem to burn much faster than others.

I have NEVER been able to nub a churchill. I have been as far as 2 hr 15 min on one and still had a good 2 1/2 inches left. Kind of why I gravitate towards Robusto or torpedo shape...:D

I tend to prefer the robusto, toro, torpedo sizes. I very rarely smoke a churchill. I tend to smoke fairly quickly, not on purpose, just because I tend to not be able to sit there with the cigar and not puff on it.
The problem is, I end up getting knocked on my ass a lot by smoking too fast.
