Smoking in the Cold Canadian Winter

Hey everyone!
I live in Canada and as everyone knows, our winters are cold! I was just wondering where ppl go in the winter when they want to smoke cigars?? Personally, my bf and I don't smoke in our appartment but usually go outside on the balcony. Has anyone out there tried making a smoke room on their balcony??? :D If so, what did you do?

I smoke on the back deck. I don't have anything special set up, so I just bundle up when I need too. I guess I could always fire up the BBQ for extra warmth if needed.

This winter I'll be in Edmonton, and it gets brutally cold up there. I may not be smoking as much then.:hn

We smoke in the hot tub. We stock up on short cigars and cigarillos and smoke for about 45 minutes a night in the winter. I'm thinking about a patio heater though. Or maybe a 15K BTU propane heater for the garage.

I can smoke outdoors comfortably as the weather isnt much of a factor in California.

In fact, today its going get up to 97 in Santa Clarita, CA.

Being from SK I feel your pain.

Rona has 4 season gazebos I figure that plus a propane heater will make a nice makeshift herf hut.

Like Boomer I live in Minneapolis. I smoke in the garage, with the heater from my ice fishing house. If it's a nicer day I'll build a fire in the fire pit. Or at the B&M. Overall though, I smoke a lot less during the winter.

If you're both into smoking cigars and really like each other then get a large chair or love-seat, sit close together, and share a nice, warm quilt!

If your balcony is closed in on three sides then a space heater pointed back at both of you might work. Otherwise, bundle up in warm clothing!

Personally I don't like hot weather very much but I do very well in cold weather. Smoking outside in winter wouldn't be too bad for me as long as I had shelter from the wind. Maybe we could trade - you guys come live in our house in east Tennessee during winter and my wife and I could live in yours, lol. :D (j/k, she can't stand cold weather :) )

That's a great idea, and I bet an electric blanket would make it even better. Can they be used outside for brief periods?

I smoked on the back porch out in the cold last winter.
This winter I'll have heat in my shop/shed. I'll be in heaven. :)

Heated Garage :tu

Yes the cold temperature is fast approaching. Last year I figured I'd be OK on the patio out back, until we got all that snow. If it's that bad this winter, I will go to the garage, it's not heated, but at least I won't have to clear all that snow. Just came in and it's only 9 celcius (48 F), so I better get some warmer clothes out:ss
