Nice to smoke in the house huh :) I am lucky, my wife loves the smell so I can smoke my cigars & pipes in the house.

Nope on the home front here either. My wife does like the smell of good cigars and even the pipe tobacco; but with our kids being in the house; it's a definite No No!

Looked at a new house yesterday though. And it had a room we already both declared as a possible smoking lounge/office for me!!:D We shall see.

Always have smoked in the house. When my wife was alive she didn't mind the smell of a good cigar. Girlfriend appreciates the aroma of a good stick as well. Matter of fact she encourages me to enjoy a smoke, at her place, or mine.

Only thing that I do for sure, is empty the ashtray promptly. The nubs can get a bit skanky, especially overnight.

I smoke inside, my wife runs around and shuts all the bedroom doors and then cracks all the windows and lights those Glade oil candles, and about 7 other ones, after Im done you cant smell anything but candles, try it while the wife is out to see if she can tell. Dot be afraid.

I lit up yesterday while watching Nascar/NFL. I put a fan in the window to draw the smoke out and it worked perfectly. Those of you in the cold states may not be able to do this, but here in 80 degrees it's cool. When my wife and daughter got home they couldn't smell anything.

Don't know how the candles work, but I am quite envious of you being able to smoke inside! Just finished my second stick of the day - in my garage.:tg

I've been married for 34 years and would like to keep it that way, so no chance of smoking in the house. Getting cold up here in Vermont, so my quantity of smoking will go way down as it's also cold in my detached garage where I do my winter smoking. Oh well, planning a winter vacation to the Dominican...I'll make up for lost time there.

I can't smoke in the house... and with my three year old daughter around, I'm not exactly eager to push the issue.

I tried smoking in my office... but my neighbor business is some wholistic health consulting thingiemabob... so they complain like crazy... I guess no biggie, I'm rarely at my office except for a specific reason.

I'm strictly outside... and sometimes I still have filters and ionic breezes running around me... luckily it never gets too cold in SoCal.

Don't think I'll be smoking in the house for a while. My living room still stinks from smoking in there Saturday night, and that's after a LOT of Oust and Febreze!

Yeah I know what you mean, I used to have cloth furniture and it was always stuck to it..I now have leather and I just wipe it down once a week and the after odor is gone.

Good luck, try using a clothes steamer with some lavender water in it, that was how I got most of the smell out of my cloth stuff.

It would be nice to be able to smoke in the house, i would like nothing more than to sit in front of the fire with a nice pipe and some music playing or a good film on TV, however i am forced to smoke outside or in the garage, i suppose however this is good in that it keeps my cigar/pipe comsumption down to an acceptable level for my health and my wallet, and it also makes pipe smoking more of a treat, esp in the warmth of the pub!
