So F-ing Angry.humidor Ruined

He was also mad that his humi wouldnt absorb any more moisture when his rH read 68% last week, he wanted it at 75%. He has been told numerous times, in many threads to buy beads, buy a digital hygro, etc. I do feel bad for his humi and I am sorry this happened but life is a learning experience.

Well put. I still am a bit lost in regards to why he seems to want to target 75% as optimal rh?

I have clamed down now and my cigars seem fine.I wa sjust pretty angry at it though.I tempted to buy a new bigger humidor now anyway lol:ss

Great! Glad to hear that all is ok. No harm buying a bigger humi anyway (except for the pocketbook).

If the stain continues to bother you, you can always take a light grit sand paper and gently sand it off. Just be careful not to over do it.

I've done it to a humidor that's had mold before.

I have a impulse to buy a new top of the range humidor.Anyonm else ever had that impulse lol:ss

Im going to try to have it for at leat 3 months before upgrading.

He said teenagers so prolly not. Unless you dont mind a wise remark every 15 seconds.

That just means they aren't working hard enough if they have time to speak.

As to the OP...I can see getting upset. I would be as well, but not much you can do except start the process over and call down the thunder on the first person to so much as look at your humi cross eyed.:tu Dry it out and reseason it. Get some beads. If the cigars are smokable, smoke em. If not, toss em and buy more as you are able.

Yeah, I gotta agree that those directions may be a little weird if you are putting cigars near uncovered liquid. Sounds like directions for disaster. :hn
