and my xikar that I bought new less than a month ago broke in my hands. I got it put back together. but when I close it, it doesn't latch shut anymore.
 
same thing happened to me, it was a gift from a friend, i emailed xikar - they told me to send it in and within a week i had a brand-new cutter. now that's customer service!
 
I've already went through 3 Xikar cutters. Each I took to the local B&M and they traded it out on the spot. The time between the second and third cutter was less than a week. Mental note, do let the cute redhead girl who is learning to smoke cigar borrow your cutter then "toss" it back to you.
 
I am back in town. I will head over to the B/M later and I will let you guys know how it turns out. I think I better take my wife though, or I might end up buying some smokes while I am there. Not a good idea after all of the money we just spent on the trip....:mad:
