Something I wish Taboo Cigars would do...

Young Chimp
:tuOk let me say that I absolutly love Taboo Cigars and there service is top notch perfect. :tu

I have so many Taboos in my humidor that I am getting them mixed up. I was wondering if anyone else is also doing this or am I just getting old. :D

All the bands are the same so mixing them up for me is a slight problem. Maybe changing to different band styles for different cigars or adding a second band would help.

Thats just me. :2

Does anyone else do this???

Some other people have posted on this. However, if you think about it, a lot of cigar companies keep their band standard throughout much of their lines. Padron 1000 series, regular production fuentes, most cuban brands.

It may just be we aren't as familiar with taboo, yet.

I would like to see some small difference in the bands as well. The cigars are so good, I want to know which one I'm smoking.

:tpd::tpd:Different bands increase costs. I use a Sharpie if I really want to know what I am smoking several month's after a purchase. Its not too hard to come up with a shortcut to know which Taboo you are smoking. SFO, SFBC, HSG, EBII, etc. :2

I wish Taboo would make the bands out of solid gold, so that I could melt them down and turn them into an anklet when I was done smoking one.

Just kidding, of course. ;)

When I get Taboo's (other than Twists and LR's), I put a small blank return address label on the wrapper to tell me what the blend is. I do this on other brands too, especially bundles.

You can buy a package of avery or dennison labels at most office supply stores for a couple of bucks. If I buy a bundle and they don't have a label at all, I print 20 or 25 labels in my laser printer and stick one on the wrapper of each stick.

:chk:chk:chk:chk

I got a sampler the other day in the mail and they have put the little white labels on the wrapper stating what it is. This was before your post so things are looking great for Taboo!

:tpd: me too... but that was over a month ago. I purchased a sampler. Perhaps when you purchase singles they do not come labeled.

Yeah, of course.

We know you are more of a dual nipple ring and chain kind of guy.

My samplers from the first order also came with white labels on the
cellophane wrap.

Once you've smoked one of each, you can definetely know the type just
by looking at them. I know, in my case, just by looking at the wrapper, I know which one it is.

By the end of the day, I will have another 90 Taboo sticks in my cabinet because my fiancée told me I received another package this morning....:chk
