Smoke it doooode! you can save the rest for aging or another day, and no worries, it's not completely impossible to find more opus...it might be hard to find well aged opus but that's ok, aging cigars yourself is fun..hard, but fun.

Personally, now this is just my opinion, I think there's some kind of unspoken law/rule that if someone sends you a smoke, one that you've been looking for, you atleast owe them a review, good or bad, main thing is that you smoke it in their name.
I'm currently in debt, I have a padron anni and a padron anni alt from TNT comparsion to write up for baglorious and walt, they sent me these when I posted up asking if anyone has try the tnt padron anni alt. It's been a while, I know, but when I'm able to smoke, I don't feel like I'm worthy of giving a full review (tired, hungry, not enough time for a long smoke or just craving).
Also, I owe MeNimbus smoking pics (no idea why he wants to see my ugly mug lol), but they need to be pics of me smoking at all the wonderful places here that make everyone jealous that I live in Hawaii and you don't haha jk.
I haven't been able to head out and drive around and smoke them at all the cool spots so I'm just saving his incredibly awesome sticks that he so generously sent me for the days that I can go out to those places.

I hope I'm not pressuring you, it might be too late though, but like I said, it's just my honest opinion, it doesn't apply to you unless you share the same opinion as me :)

Smoke the opus or not, enjoy whatever you end up smoking :D

At least smoke one of them now! They are not that hard to come by, and you will still have 3 left. If it turns out to be amazing you can save the 3 others. :2

Smoke one, if you end up not agreeing with it, or it doesn't agree with you, much better to know you weren't saving it for nothing. You may in fact come to the conclusion that they are overhyped. I think your situation would be much harder to solve if you only had one, because I have thought along the same lines many times. Trying to cure myself of that horrible affliction, though.

I am not however skilled in the art of Fuente, though, and have the palate of a goat, so I may be talking out my rear.
:D

I say smoke it.. I totally agree with guitarman on this. Try a range so you can start tailoring to what you personally like.

I've been looking for 1 to buy (no luck so far at my B&Ms). Anyone know where I can order a single?

Smoke it :tu If you like it just get another one for aging:ss
I've never had one so I don't know what all the hype is about?

Depending on how far he had to ship it you could let them rest for a week in your humi then smoke it, but definitely don't wait longer than that. Those are definitely one line of cigars I've been wanting to try. I'm definitely going to have to pick one up soon to celebrate my birthday next month.

"SMOKE IT!"

Yes you should smoke an Opus, but on a full stomach or else :pu.

Smoke one and age the rest if you have anymore.

I have a few smokes that I have been saving because I only have one and I know that I will never get to try one again. However, I would be pretty pissed if I got hit by a truck today and never got to smoke that one cigar. Get yourself some quiet time and smoke one of them.

If you were hit by a bus, lying on the ground- would you rather wonder "I wonder what that Opus would have tasted like?" or "I'm sure glad I tried that Opus- it was great!"?
I smoke all my sticks now; that's what they're for and life is too short.
