Spam in my PM box

Checked my email this morning and it said I had a PM here.I check it and it was spam. Anyone else get this and was it a glitch or will it keep happening?
 
THis is a growing issue in these kinds of forums. Companies etc register as private persons and start spamming the members with PMs and firend requests etc. It really sucks, but i think in the long run there will be little you can do... except keep banning the spammers (but they keep coming back with alter egos)

I got a spam from Jessie at the NubLive site and was suitably impressed with the explanation of Eastern religious beliefs that I don't understand or subscribe to but to each his own. I was too busy to respond. I think I was sorting my socks.:chk
 
Ive had this problem on other forums before (mostly car forums). You just delete em, cuz theres not really any ways to stop em
 
woha! You mean to tell me that PM I got from a Nigerian Prince was spam?

*rushes to stop payment on check* lol

could be worse, at least he didn't try to tell you how to extend the length of your cigars. lol :ss
