Still looking for Small Cigars

I really like the Ashton Cigarillios. They are very small and surprisingly smooth for their size. Otherwise, you could give the Cafe Creme's a try...they are also very small and not too bad for a very quick smoke (about 5-10 mins)

I second the Ashtons, and for a low price point I buy the Senoritas locally for $8.50 for a box of 10.
I was told they use the same tobacco as those in the metal tins, just not as pretty to look at.

I enjoy Macanudo Ascots and Minis if you are looking for mild smokes - make sure you get the WHITE box if you want mild.

Rocky Patel Juniors - they come in about three different types. I've been smoking Sun Grown and Maduros (I just picked up a box of 40 maddies from CI for $29.95 on special...

The Partagas regular and maduro were very good as were the Cohiba regular and maddies that Mugen910 bombed me with!

Also, you can try Henri Winterman's Cafe Creme in the BLUE box (which are not flavored).

I hesitate to mention the ACID line here (ducking), but they have C-notes and Krushes (BLUE box again) if you don't mind flavored cigars. My sons both like the C-notes, Krushes and Blondies.

Have fun!

Ok, a repeat subject, but I'm still looking. I have tried the Chohiba Pequenos (too harsh and $$$ for the smoke). Most of the smaller lines seem to lose the taste of their big brothers (almost to the point I wonder if it's the same tobacco) and smoke real harsh like a cigarette.

Wait a minute, here. You gave us a clue. One of the folks here (sorry, I forgot who :-( ) gave me a couple of Pequenos in a trade. They are _not_ harsh--they are overpriced, but not harsh. :)

You are smoking 'em way too fast. Small cigars need to be puffed very very slowly and gently.
Try not breathing out until you remove the cigar from your mouth. Then exhale the smoke.

That said you should smoke the mini version of your favorite larger smokes. The Petite Tats are the best imho, and I love the Camacho Machitos, but both must be smoked very gently or they will turn on you. When properly smoked they will taste just like their big brothers.

These are my recommendations from what I smoked in the past week or so--

Padron 1926- The ultimate small cigar- smoked one last night and it ashed down to my fingertips-- at $10 a pop in a box, it is a special occasion quick smoke

Tatuaje Angeles-- almost as good as the Padron - still has a heck of a lot of flavor, and very well constructed

Rocky Patel Sun Growns-- Im a little tired of these, but good full-bodied flavor -- needs a drink to bring out the taste in my book

Ashtons-- the easy fix for a quick smoke when you aren't really thinking-- mild and easy

Cabaiguan- I know other people rave about these, but I didn't get it-- had some good spice on the palate, but pretty bland other than that--

Love the Tat Angles, but not a quick smoke. A lot of great sugestions and I'll start trying some. Mostly looing in the cheaper range if I have to finish quick or toss if the Road Captain says it's time to hit the road again. I may buy a box of 10/tin of each and just start giving all a shot.
