Strangest flavor you've tasted in a cigar

Guava. Just guava. Can not remember the cigar (vegas cubanas by Pepin I think) but I had just got finished drinking some guava nectar and club soda.

I can't really describe it, but I smoked a RyJ Bully about a month ago that had the taste/smell of "young female at Hollywood nightclub with bitter-moist armpits." I've had Bullies before that tasted decent. But after the last one, I decided the experience was bad enough to make it my last one - for all eternity.
:pu

last shit herf I had a ryj #1 that tasted like steamed broccoli with butter for a bit. It might have been due to the casa fuente I had just prior to it.

Oddly enough while it wasn't exactly enjoyable, it wasn't bad.

I had a CAO Brazilia that hit me with very brief (2 draws each), but very distinct shots of:
  • amarillo
  • smoked salmon
  • fresh laundry out of the dryer

Coconut in a Monte #2 ISOM. It was really nice.

With all these Cremosa tastes I am actually tempted to buy one just to see how bad they really are. Plus, cat urine is a really good thing to be able to recognize... right?

For me, it would have to be drawing on a La Escepcion Longo and a 92 Montecristo Joyita at the same time. The pleasurable and umistakeable flavor of root beer. Yes, root beer.

That was absolutely amazing....duplicated it once, but haven't got it the last couple times. Next time I get a Longo, I will give it another try. :)

Yes, holy crap yes! I have experienced that great combo. :dr

Just happened yesterday as a matter of fact......................

I lit up a Jericho and the son of a gun tasted like soap. YES SOAP. And to be sure I handed it to my brother in-law (CBI_2) and asked him to try it and he agreed......SOAP. That was the end of that stick (about 3/4" in).

A couple of years ago I tried a RyJ NC, can't remember the size, and it tasted like plastic. :pu Two draws = done.

Now, there was this Don Carlos #4 (maybe #5) and it brimmed with rich, ripe, dark, sweet cherry... could almost chew it. Belly-rubbing good.

I was once smoking a Don Pepin Blue label and I swear I had one puff that tasted just like bacon! That was probably the greatest moment of my cigar smoking life...I love bacon :D

Edit: I've smoked many DP since then and have never had the bacon flavor come back =(

Yea I thought he may be getting a hint of flavor giving him that soapiness but man on that one puff I took it was like sucking on a bar of soap. It was like they washed the tobacco leaves and forgot to rinse them off.
