Thinking about placing an order there so first off, is the best way to try them out by buying the sampler or just buying one of all (any recs on ones I have to buy?) and secondly do they ever have the olivia G maduros(My current favorite. great flavor for a great college price.) Cause if they do I may buy their whole stock.

Go for the sampler! :tu It worked for me and I've bought twists and sumatras since. Damn, I need more.

I too love the GMs, but I've never seen them. Yet. Maybe Rob someday?

Pull the trigger!! (Don't forget to look for the coupons)

I just busted into my Special G Maddies that I put back about six months ago.
That little sumbitch was borderline fantastic. One more month and they'll be incredible. :tu

Rob has a 10 cigar sampler of his Taboo blends. If you like the Special G Maddie as much as I do, I bet the Special Forces Original will do it for you. Be aware of the rg of Rob's cigars. They're fat. If you like a slimmer smoke, pick something that suits.
I've had the SFO in every vitola and they're all awesome.
The Twist is something entirely different. It's creamy, buttery, sweet and spicy. They usually require a little settling time too, so don't push yourself to smoke them real quick. Ask Rob when they came in, make sure they have about a month. A little time in the open air in my humi or humi jars makes all the difference in the world, and you'll be thrilled.
The Exotic Blend is a good cigar for the price, as well as the SFO Boot Camp. I'm not crazy about the HSG and I don't like the Costa Rica at all. Not that it's not a quality cigar, it just isn't to my taste for whatever reason.
Hope this helps!!!

I agree with Shilala. My favorites are the Twists followed closely by the Exotic Blend OB Maduro's. They are a 60 RB....excellent. The Twists are the creamiest smoke I have had. I am about to pull the trigger on another box with th 30% discount. I will be a grandfather in October and they will be my pass out cigar..............:ss

I actually rather like the Honduran Sun Growns. I've also been kicked in the a$$ by the SF Lancero...strong smoke, and not for everyone!

But as a starter, do what a lot of us did, go for the sampler!

I personally like the african cameroon, twist, special forces original, and i just ordered the hsg's cause i forgot what they taste like. Get the sampler, then go from there. You'll be back for more!:tu

After trying all of Rob's cigars I have decided my favorite is the one that I smoking now. I really have not met a Taboo I did not enjoy so investigate and try them all.

I agree with the getting the sampler approach. That way you can find out which smokes you like. You'll probably find out you like most of them.

I had a SFBC the other night and really enjoyed it. I am going to smoke the SFO from the sampler. What differences can I expect? The SFO are on sale this week and then the 30% is great. I want to smoke it before Friday so I can catch some during sale if liked. Any input?

Rob

Hi! Can you get taboos from somewhere else than taboocigars.com, since their website says that they don't ship across the pond? I'd love to try out some of them, but they seem to be somewhat hard to find...

SFO is quite a bit stronger than BC. I personally like the BC better, but you may like the stronger taste of the Original! Make sure you eat something substantial before smoking these "Bad Boys"!:tu

I am sure if you post a thread, someone would be more than willing to work out a shipping deal with you, i.e. they receive it -then ship it to you.

OR, you can call rob directly, or PM him, and see if he is willing to work something out. More likely than not there are other international taboo-lovers with the same issue.

Now why didn't I think of this? :) I have a bunch of colleagues at our Texas office. I should be able to arrange it with them easily.

Thanks for the reminder... :)

I ordered the sampler as my intro to Taboo cigars. I have only smoked two of them so far, the SFBC and SFO and loved both of them. Will definately be ordering more soon.:tu
