tastes like polyurethane?

Has anyone else had this happen? I have had a few cigars recently where I felt like it tasted like polyurethane/wood stain. It first happened on a TTT that i picked up, but i figured it was just from the heavily painted box it came in. Had it happen the other day with another cigar also and tonight with a RP1992 that's been sitting for a couple months now. The taste this time didn't come through until about 1/2 thru the cigar, but it felt like i was chewing on a cabinet door that my dad just sprayed. It's repulsive! Anyone else ever get this taste?

The only time I have come close to what you describe was when my palate was a little out of whack. I had a trial with my sinuses recently, and witnessed something close. I have also paired a cigar with the wrong beverage and had this result. Hope it gets better for you. :tu
