Can any pepin whores tell me does the tat series p taste similar to the pepin blue label? I am slowly leaning towards all pepin blends as I cant seem to light up anything else, seems any other smoke I fire up leaves me wanting the pepin flavor and spice.nothing else seems to satisfy, not long ago I was the same way with padron but it seems like their blends changed,or maybe my palate, any help on the series p would be helpful,, thanx

I LOVE the P series, more than the brown and red labels...i know I am weird. I find the white labels series P's much more smooth and easier to smoke. The P3 is a bit long so th 2nd half seems a bit acrid but the P2 (robusto) are right on.

Yes, broadly (and I mean broadly) speaking, I think they do...but that's when compared to say a non-Pepin brand. Otherwise, the P series is less spicy, more leathery than rich red meat to me. I'm not a big fan of the blue myself so the P series (then the brown labels) wins between the two. Series P, blue, brown...they're all shades of the same goodness though, aren't they?:D

I see a difference in flavor in these two. I like both, but the blue is more full bodied and a bit sweeter in my opinion. I get more wood and pepper in the P's, but I prefer the complexity of the blue label. Two different smokes in two different price ranges (unless you are Joe cigar). The P series is a sandwich style blend as well (mixed filler), but hard to tell by the quality.

The blend itself is the same as the Havana VI line of cigars, but these are a "Cuban sandwich" consisting of 40% long filler and 60% medium filler.
