Tatuaje Black Label

Tw3nty

A.K.A. Vanderburg
Okay, Madurolover...here you go. I am dedicating this cigar to my good friend and benefactor, Madurolover.

This stick is really rare and hard to come by so I am very grateful to my friend.

I have to admit the stick looks dark and daring, like the lead actress in the movie Underworld.

The little black band is sweet.

The whole vampire reference come from the shaggy tip, which you really have to take some time to light the cigar though. Be careful because the leafs can flame up and burn your shirt.

The pre-light draw had a little hind of wood.

The first third of the cigar tasted like a strong woodsy cigar. Their was a bit of bark in the taste as well.

The second third of the cigar tasted similar to the first third. The cigar got a little stronger a more defined but not much.

The final third of the cigar got a nice taste of nicotine to compliment the previous wood and bark taste.

By the nub, The nicotine taste took over the whole cigar. This was a really nice cigar, different from the red and black label but still an obvious Tatuaje.

The weakness in this cigar was the construction. The cigar ran really hard on one side and had a tight draw, had to touch the cigar up three times..

Overall the taste of this cigar was great. I really want to have another one to compare this one with. I would rate this cigar an 8.4 out of 10 because of construction issues.

Again, Madurolover, thank you for this cigar. You are a true friend and a gentleman.

Jeal-ous! Nice pics and review. I like the Underworld reference, but I think I would've compared it to Harry and the Hendersons!

Nice review Tw3nty. Glad you liked it but I wish the burn would have been a little better for you. Of the few I have smoked only one had a burn issue.

Thanks for the review! Man that guy has some serious sunburn on his left leg!

Sorry George has ADD!!!:r

Great review!!! I have concerns about the construction on most of the Tats I've had. It looks like the Black Label is darker but burns the same as most. Still wouldn't mind giving one a try!

Could just be me and my humi?

By the way, that's NOT me with the burned leg.

OKAY..... FINE!

It's my burned leg. The sun kinda snuck up on me the other day while I was outside. The weather is GREAT here. I can thing of worse thing. :D

BTW, I did like the flavor of the Tat Black, draw and burn issues aside. I look forward to trying a few more at some point before I can really get a feel for what this cigar has to offer.

Hehe sorry, for some reason it caught my eye. I'm fair haired (well no haired now!) and I have had some nasty sunburns in my day and I was feeling sorry for ya. :D
