Tatuaje Especiales

I love Tats and have been waiting to review this stick. I have recently found the lancero size to be a favorite of mine...and, this cigar was not a let down.

This cigar was a perfect size.

Awesome curly top cap.

Awesome foot.

The pre-ligth draw left a nice pepper spice on my lips.

The first third of the cigar was the normal Tat taste with a little more spice on the lips. I think this ring gauge really encapsulates the tat taste with just enough spice...not super strong either.

The second third of the cigar was a cornucopia of spices, woods and earth tones.

This cigar was like smoking a Ornette Coleman song. He mixed free jazz with blues and that is this cigar..calling out its mixture of wild spices with a smooth earthy tone.

The final third added a hint of nicotine, but not enough to overpower the rest of the cigar taste. It was like Ornette playing with a great bass player. The Nicotine solo just added depth and richness of taste.

The nub continued with the same taste as the final third. what a really good cigar.

The construction was, as usual for the Tats, phenomenal.

I would rate this cigar an 89 out of 10. It is a really good stick.. Pick one up if you can.

As always, great review! Got to love the Tats. In the first picture, is that an Asthon VSG peeking out of your travel humi?

Nice review, Robert. This is definitely at the top of my "Want to Try" list. Well done!

Got a chance to try one a few months back and would agree with you. Got a box being ordered for me at my shop. Can't wait!

I used to smoke these all the time. Had one two nights ago and I thought it was only "all right". I may have burned myself out on them.

I had one of the red labels in this size and I have to say I did not care for it. The draw was too tight and the smoke volume was minimal. It had been resting in my humi for a while so I don't think it was a humidity problem. It was my third cigar of the day so I may have given up too easily.
