Tatuaje Help

BamBam

Ya Damn Right
OK I admit that I am still a noob, as I have been smoking for less than a year. Before I got on here I had never even heard of Tatuaje or Don Pepin for that matter. I hear you guys rave about these sticks and search them out like they are crack. So I have decided that I am going to try and broaden my horizons. I am interested in sampling some Tatuajes and Padillas.

So the question is, where can I buy these online?

I would prefer singles so I can try them and see if I like them. Any help on online retailers, who have good deals on these, would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Dustin

Seacrest Out. (I couldn't resist)

CigarKing.com!! Not so much Padilla and Tats but many exclusive blends and great samplers and 5-packs. Try the Hirsch y Garcia corona. It's my favorite Pepin.

New Havana Cigar is a great place for Pepin samplers.

Just went there and they have a great selection.

Now the question is which ones are must tries for these Pepin brands(Tatuaje,Padilla,DPG,Illusione, etc,)

I had no idea there was so many.

Illusione is not a Pepin blend. I really like the Tatuajes.

Anyone notice that Holts lowered their prices on Tat boxes? I spot checked the Noellas and Holts is showing $158 as their normal price (that is, they aren't showing it as a special) while New Havana still has $180 (plus a ball cap).

Any idea if this is a short term thing with Holts or if NH will follow suit on price?

I'm saving a cooler spot for Noellas as I just have Reggios and Petites right now (cab of each).

Have only tried some.
I will say its hit and miss and definetly a personal taste thing.
Some are more peppery then others. Some are more balanced then others.
When I smoked my first I thought it was crap. Over time I have tried some I like more.
I have not had the brown label or blue yet which are supposed to be some of the more popular.

I had a Tat Havana VI(Red band) and I was really disappointed. The wrapper started to fall off from the foot, and there wasnt much taste. Maybe I just had a dud because most seem to like them.

I bought a box of Noellas last summer from Holt's at that price, think it is their regular price and they are best around on the net for Tat boxes, IMO.

I'd go with this sampler from New Havana giving you an outstanding selection. http://www.newhavanacigars.com/Tatuaje_Pete_s_Picks_Sampler_p/tat-petes-picks-sampler.htm
