Tatuaje Reserva J21

So I just had my J21 Reserva. You know, I wasn't that impressed. Mine burned terribly uneven and I had to relight a few times. The first 1/3 wasn't great. The initial flavor wasn't bad but I think the uneven burn definitely was a distraction and didn't provide me with the intended even flavor.

The second third was a little better, actually quite tasty but then the bastard went out on me. Twice. No biggie so I continued. The last 1/3 was decent enough, but then it went out on me again so I finally gave up.

Overall, not as great as I would have expected. Certainly not as good as the Veracu West Side.

Perhaps I'll try it again but I'll look for the West Side's first. Oh, and for about the same price, the Oliva Masters Blend 3 I had last night was by far the superior cigar, by a long shot. That sucker was amazing.

Sorry the cigar did not live up to the hype.

BTW- to funny on the O Reilly clip

No worries at all; I enjoy trying new sticks. I'm happy to sacrifice myself for an hour of relaxing :D.

That O'Reilly clip is played at work several times throughout the day to charge us up. You'll hear guys repeating: "I can't do it, can't do it, #$%^ it, I'll do it live!" all day long. It's our new mantra.

I must say these are not what the once were. I had a stash w/ at least 3 years on them and they WERE the epitome of a good cigar - the version getting all the praise. I picked up some recent stock and the cigar changed, its a more dry and the wrapper is darker. It is a different cigar. Not exponentially different but not as subtle-spicy as the originals I had. The new ones are bit more dry on the tongue and a tad more charcoal in flavor. Hopefully these are just anomalies as I would love the original to shine through again.
