The America

If you haven't had the CAO America go for it. I prefer this one over the other CAO's beside the CX2. Had one today sitting at my beach house over the Canal. Perfect. Not as good as some of the sticks i have had but one of the better sticks.

Had one at my 4th of july celebration. It was alright. I have to try more of them to make a better decision.

Yep, had one yesterday. Kinda meh. But I'll have to have one when I can sit down and think about it, maybe do a review.

I had one on the 4th as well. While my pallet was probably burnt, I smoked a camacho havana diadema a couple of hours beforehand, I didn't enjoy it too much with one major exception. About 2/3 of the way through, I got the unmistakable taste of vanilla from this cigar. While this taste only lasted for about 1/2", it made the cigar worthwhile for me. I will have to pick up another some time to give it a fair review.

Bought some Americas for the Fourth back in January. I let them sit in my cooler (65%) until 7/1 and then moved them to my humi. Took three of them to a 4th party and enjoyed them with my oldest son and a friend. No problems with the burn and enjoyed the flavors.

We also had some Fuentes Curly Head deluxes that we smoked - and used as lighters for the fireworks we were launching.

For a while I was really digging the line but the last 2 I've had were kind of acrid , had some decent periods to them but I probably won't buy anymore . The last 2 I smoked were the Anthem , most recently on Independence Day , not both in the same day . It lasted about 2 - 1/2 hours before I got tired of it , there were occasional hints of bitter chocolate and ashyness but that was about all I could pick out flavour wise . I really liked the Potomac but I'm not so sure about them any longer . I had a CAO Odyssey the next day and it had the same ashyness to it . Maybe I just don't like the CAO brand anymore .

I had one a few months back and thought it was only OK. I decided to try another on the 4th and enjoyed it more than the previous. I'm not sure if it was the cigar or my overall satisfaction with the day that made the experience enjoyable, but it was nice. I have another getting some age right now that I'll have to sit down and try out at a later time.

I had one on the 4th and I loved it. It was a pretty darn good stick. Even the people sitting around me outside said it smelled good to them and they would probably normally be offended by the smoke. It was win win and the band is neat as all get up.

renton--let the Havana rest a year and then try it.

I smoked one over the holiday and although it was a pleasant cigar, I can't say I was wowed. One thing I might add is that this cigar had the best burn/construction I've ever encountered before. I smoked the robusto vitola (Potomac?) and only ashed it once. It held an ash pushing the 3" mark with a razor sharp burn. I'll likely buy another just to give it another go, maybe with less humi time. Mine had just over a year on it.

I saved an America to smoke this last weekend and I must say it was just OK. It was a pleasant smoke, but maybe I was expecting to be blown away, and I wasn't.
